Highlights of the 2008 annual NATPA membership meeting
held in Columbia, Missouri on March 29, 2008
A motion was made and voted on by the membership to add the following weight classes to Division I, beginning with the first pull of the 2008/2009 pulling season to be held in Springfield, Missouri on June 21, 2008. 3000#, 4000#, 5000#, and 6000#
No other changes were made to Division I rules and they will remain in affect until 4/2012.
A motion was made and voted on by the membership to add the following weight class to Division II, beginning with the first pull of the 2008/2009 pulling season to be held in Republic, Missouri on June 21, 2008. 3000#
No other changes were made to Division II rules and they will remain in affect until 4/2012.
A motion was made and voted on by the membership in order to receive a point’s award you must have participated in that class a least 5 times. In order to compete in the championship pull you need 3 hooks before the championship event.
The board has made a clarification to rule number 10, in Division III, IV and V by adding the following wording: Tractors must have stock frame, transmission, rear ends and axle housing for make and model of tractor being pulled.
